I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. On Saturday night me and my boyfriend Alex headed out into Madrid for dinner. Eating out (well, going out in general) is something that during the past 18 months has been an extremely rare occurrence - loud busy places and M.E really don't get on, plus getting out of bed is a big enough task on it's own so fun activities haven't exactly been filling my social calendar. However, on Saturday night I got dressed, actually put make up on for the first time in about 6 months - it's crazy how much energy it consumes when you have little to spare, and off we went!
We decided to go to a Mexican restaurant not far from here and we both enjoyed some delicious food. I had a vegetable dish with a Mexican bean sauce and Alex had fajitas. I was even extra naughty and had a mojito (alcohol is normally strictly forbidden what with all the pills but I just couldn't resist!) I was quite lucky in that it wasn't overly busy and it wasn't not too noisy which I was pleased about but I I did have to sit on a hard and uncomfortable chair which made my back pain worse. It was so nice to get out though and I very much enjoyed the Mexican themed decor and music.
The deserts on the menu seemed expensive for the portions so instead we went to the oh so delicious Häagen-Dazs ice cream shop nearby and I opted for my favourite tiramisu flavour which was heaven in a small pot!
It was a lovely evening and as I'm not able to do simple normal things much whenever I do I always appreciate it so much. I've been paying the price ever since though, I've been extra fatigued with flu like symptoms but that's something we expect and just the way it goes with this illness unfortunately.
Excuse the bad quality of the last 3 photos they were taken on my phone
Couldn't not take a selfie now could I!
& for anyone interested my dress and bag are both vintage

In other news - we have a new future king! I'm sure Kate and William are going to make excellent parents, I can't wait to see who he looks like more!
